There are so many possible reasons for us to love classic cars. It could be that they evoke memories of a car that our families had when we were young. Or it could be that you have always loved the movie Mad Max, and lusted after a XB GT Ford Falcon Coupe.
Or it could be that you're an investor. In 2011 a report found that some classic cars for sale rose in value by about 20 per cent in 2011, which is considerably higher than the 9.93 per cent of growth attributed to gold over the same period.

Owning a classic, muscle, antique or vintage car, is an assertion of individuality, an expression of your love of design, and a very cool way of getting from A to B… and being admired for your taste in vehicles along the way.
As former Top Gear host Quentin Willson, writes in regard to classic cars: "And it's such a wonderful leveller. Conventional social barriers fade away when you start to swap stories with like-minded enthusiasts. The bloke with the Aston DB5 will surprise you with his arcane knowledge of early Mini Coopers and the Ferrari Daytona owner will secretly admit to lusting after a 70s 3000E Capri. There's a rare social adhesion here that bonds us all."
